Below the surface

  1. 0–3 m

    Parrotfish and surgeonfish graze the reef flat in water as clear as glass.

  2. 3–6 m

    Hawksbill and green turtles feed on the reef. Our crew knows where they rest.

  3. 6–10 m

    Spotted eagle rays glide over the sand at the edge of the coral.

  4. 10–15 m

    Whitetip reef sharks sleep under the ledges. Shy, and harmless to swimmers.

All trips include snorkel gear. Scuba dives can be arranged with a licensed dive centre.

When to go.

Seychelles sits outside the cyclone belt and we sail all year. The wind changes with the seasons, and so does the feel of the sea.

Glassy water and the best visibility of the year. Our favourite months to snorkel.

Cooler and drier, with a steady breeze. Great sailing; crossings to Praslin are livelier.
